The wintry backdrop of the Engadin is preparing for a long-awaited event - the Engadin Skimarathon 2024. Amidst the majestic landscapes and snow-covered trails, this year's race is not only a highlight for athletes, but also a celebration for all those who love the fascination of cross-country skiing. As the official wax partner, we will of course be there again. But TOKO would not be TOKO if, in addition to high-quality waxes and tools, it did not also shine in terms of entertainment and information.

A very special and varied program has been put together for the Engadin Skimarathon 2024. From live demonstrations to the latest ski waxing techniques and expert talks - visitors can expect a mixture of absolute sports enthusiasm and informative specialist knowledge.

Waxtipp and programm

Participants in the Engadin Skimarathon can once again look forward to a unique experience this year. First and foremost, of course, the ever-popular wax tip, which will be available to download a few days before the big event. However, the TOKO program for the Engadin Skimarathon 2024 offers much more - especially on site, visitors can expect a comprehensive experience, as the program includes a wide variety of specials:

  • Wax service (last-minute wax service, liquid kerosene) at the start, as well as at the ski test in Pontresina, which allows participants to have their skis prepared by experienced experts on site

  • TOKO station in the Village with the latest innovations and information from the World Cup, XXL prize draw and daily show waxing by the pros (French 12.00, German 14.00 and English 16.00)

  • Expert discussion on Saturday (09.03, 13.30) with Dr. Stefan Jung (Chief Developer) and Torsten Thrän (Racing Team) about fluorine-free innovations in skiing

Fluorfree innovations in skiing

Now that there is also a clear fluorine ban at the Engadin Skimarathon, there is a small informative addition to what is probably the most current topic in skiing. Dr. Stefan Jung, Chief Developer at TOKO, and Torsten Thrän from TOKO Racing Service will be shedding light on the latest developments and possibilities of fluorine-free waxes and how they are changing the world of skiing on Saturday, March 9 from 13:30 in the Village. Experience from the World Cup, where these innovations have already been tested for their practical suitability, will be a key focus.
